A group of Lawrence County Pennsylvania corrections officers and cooks are voting Tuesday on whether or not to join the Teamsters.
They'll vote by secret ballot in two shifts Tuesday morning and afternoon. The Pennsylvania Labor Relations Board is conducting the election.
These workers had a union until mid-January - when Construction and General Laborers Union Local 964 ended the representation. If the Lawrence County jail workers vote union Tuesday they will be represented by Teamsters Local 261.
