Florida group seeks repeal of ‘Stand Your Ground’

A Florida group called Dream Defenders is protesting the Trayvon Martin verdict at Florida’s capitol and governor’s office. They say they won’t leave until the governor calls a special session of the legislature to address the environment that killed Trayvon Martin. The Dream Defenders’ agenda is to repeal Florida’s Stand Your Ground law, to end racial profiling and to abolish what they call school-to-prison education policies.
